NeverMind I pulled the tune when there are so many good ones to pick from. Ivorbigun's is a better version of mine. My next evolution was going to be a bit of aero. Pretty sure his has aero on it mine didn't.
Im sub 2 min barely in rivals event. Huracan is coming my way. Sweet.

I'm having issues with either my tune or my wheel itself. When I go into a sharp turn and I put a good bit of wheel into it the car will suddendly just drop FFB. Is that a wheel issue? it happens on all the cars but it also happens at differing times depending on the car. Just wanna make sure that my base isn't starting to self destruct or maybe I'm just doing something wrong.
It's fine that's forza Ffb system, it is indicating that the front tyres have lost grip and that you are sliding. A terrible way to inform you as it is way too drastic but it's how it's done. Nothing wrong with your wheel or the tune you are just overdriving.

Thanks
In the wheel/controller settings page for the wheel you need to turn rumble- OFF. It's literally the worse thing you can have active (from an FFB signal saturation standpoint, not from a "damage the wheel" standpoint). More on the preference side of things, in the advance controller menu, vibration should be between 90% -60% off your FFB strength- Never equal or God forbid more than
It relates to how quickly the brakes reach maximum pressure by squeezing the controller trigger. Lower pressure, like 90% perhaps means you'll probably have to completely hold down the left trigger to lock them up. But 120% would mean you'd only have to lightly pull it to lock up all four wheels.

Does that make sense?
Yeah it does and I kind of thought that's what it might mean but I wasn't sure. Does higher brake pressure compromise the tune elsewhere? Because the one with 170% that I tried used all 7 gears rather quickly. But that could have just been coincidence and the tune was originally geared that way. I just started driving these cars for the first time about a week ago so I'm still trying to learn what's what with them.
One tune I tried over the weekend must have had the brake pressure set at about 10% because it felt like you needed the length of an airport runway to get it to stop. I thought I was going to push my pedals clean through my tv stand.
Jezza, brake pressure has nothing to do with gearing. Brake pressure is completely preference based and does not hurt the tune if its at 1% or 200% unless it is so low that you can not apply full brakes. It effectively works more like a multiplier on brake travel kind of adding in more deadzone unofficially.
The very low pressure one will not need more distance to stop it will just require you to use a longer trigger pull/step on brake to get to 100% braking. The only thing you may want to keep an eye out for which can be done while parked. Step on brake/pull trigger and make sure you get 100% braking and figure out about where you get 100% braking.

Brake pressures do change/effect stopping distance, just FYI
I've never tested distance but I know I like it higher now (have for a while) and I thought that I stopped Faster (less distance braking) at higher pressures.

Off the top of my head, GT cars can vary about 30ft going from 120 to 0. And higher pressure doesn't always mean shorter distances. 75% can often stop shorter than 90% for example, which makes 0% sense but at least it's consistent.
Brake balance changes the stopping distance as well, but that's more tune dependent (car native weight dist% vs tuning setup)
I run 53% front and 145% pressure and I notice on sim damage, I wear my front's out very quickly on the DTCC cars. If I shift it back to 51%, it feels very similar, but I can squeeze a few more laps out of the car before having to pit if needed. It definitely makes a difference.
I typically run 45-60% brake with between 125 & 165% pressure depending on the car.
FWD cars on flowing tracks (Brands Hatch) I tend to trail brake and have my pressures at 45% & 125%.
Then on a track like Long beach/Road America most your braking is in a straight line before the corner then a my balance is more 55%+ with around 150% pressure.
RWD cars will always be front bias brake balance. Lower for flowing. Higher for hard braking tracks.
I'm a straight line/ coast / accelerate driver so I found I prefer it to be 50 or to the front. I did find putting it to the back a bit on fwd and awd to help a bit.
But I never stray far and never tune well enough that I think it's an issue. But it was nice to see some of the post suggesting my gut was steering me In the right direction. I guess I would have to test where a trail brake is necessary. But I think my instincts fight against the idea so the tuning for it really doesn't help me much.
I'm usually 125- 165% pressure car dependent. Ovals are like 30-40 percent. So I get minor slow downs and front grip to help avoid incidents.
If a tune shows up on the leaderboard as being a shared tune (full circle) but when you search their gamertag, and nothing matches for the track you're on, could that tune have been unshared by the tuner? I thought once that happened there would be a half circle under "file". I'm probably grasping at straws here.

best thing to do is to download it straight from the LB, thats easiest than searching for it all over the place.

I didn't know you could do that. How do you do it?
Go to the Leaderboards page, find the car/tune on the Leaderboard that you wish to use, click on this row, and then it brings up a number of options and 'Download Tune' will be one of these (as long as the left hand side of the circle is there). It will then be sitting in 'My Tunes'. It normally appears on the left hand side of the list as it will be the most recent tune you have downloaded.
