Thanks coops I'm glad you like it, I finished the first vinyl group for my next star wars instalment the sith lords Lykan, btw it's not staying in the bonnet it's going on the rear wing, check this out
hey y'all sorry I have not posted in a few weeks but I have been trying to battle some personal demons and I have a couple of paints that I am delaying the release of, first up I have my sith lords Lykan I gave a minor glimpse of it in me previous post, this paint leaves me with mixed emotions, well mainly count Dooku because all though he is very similar to the source picture he looks all out of place and just a little bit wrong on the car,
after I finished the sith lords paint I found myself bored and still in the 'zone', so I asked my 3 year old boy what I should paint next his first word was bubbles and so bubbles it was, what started out as a whimsical idea started to look ok and the further I got in to it the more I got in to it, so with a certain amount of tounge in cheek I present my Matey 'bubble bath' #33 Wilson Security Racing GRM S60 Volvo
I'm a huge fan of the animated show Archer and after posting some Archer stuff on Facebook it turned out some of my forza community friends are too, I mentioned that archer was the first paint I ever tried on Fm5 so they requested that I put something together on fm6, (there is a new series coming out at the end of march and I will be making a new car for it, until then I give you my Corvette Z06
my last paint to show off today is still a wip, I was challenged by a friend of mine on twitter to create an Aztec design with a centre piece of the mayan calendar being as the ruins are in Mexico I felt it needed to be on a typical Hispanic lowrider as there wasn't many in the game so I went with the Buick Regal GNX
hey hey hey, ive got another batch of paints hot of the presses, this may seem like a small amount for me since my last post but I have another 3 waiting in the wings for an appropriate release date.
I very rarely paint women (for some reason 95% of my portraits are men), so I thought I'd try and buck that trend, being as this is well out of my comfort zone it took me a couple of days longer than normal, and a being a colour portrait I was a little lost in the wilderness (again 95% of my portraits are b&w, again I don't know why). None the less I bring you my Keira Knightly Fairlady Z, she far from perfect but she's pretty damn close.
Next up is a man who as an impressionable teenager changed my life and my world perspective, Bill Hicks was an American comedian/social commentator who died 22 years ago this paint was released on the anniversary of his death Feb 26 and there will be a B class open source tune for the car in the next issue of the PTG magazine by PTG Ducky
My final offering for today is a paint I have been meaning to do and wanted to do for a long while, featuring 2 absolute legends of F1, the almighty James Hunt and Niki Lauda
Thank you very much, you wouldn't believe how much self doubt I have and how uncertain i get with what I do
Ur paints are amazing eliot, jaw dropping,my absolute favorite paint,is the one u haven't done yet and when u do It,i start the process all over again,u,stuzi, mesa and lomax are the 1st names I look for when I pick a liverie, cuz i want my garage looking good
Forgive me Father for I have sinned, it has been a month since my last thread update and you are about to spammed, in more way than one.
ok ok so its been a while, but before you get the hate guns out I have been busy painting and practising/learning how to be a race driver (I have come to the conclusion I will always be a better painter than racer) so much has gone and passed since Hunt and Lauda so with out further delay lets get in to meat of this, first up was a request I had for a bunch of dragon age inquisition vinyls, not content with just releasing the vinyls I did a whole car
next up was an idea I had for a paint off between myself and ptg stuzib85 to accompany the film batman vs superman we each had the same car but chose different heros, we were lucky enough to get the amazing Don Joewon Songto make a video for us to go with the release and an awesome A class tune by ptg brains
Next up is another request I had, this time a Patrick Assenheimer race replica from dtc milch, milch wanted a version on the Z06 so after I gave him his I shared the design on the car its meant to be on the C7.R
one goes out and another comes in, another request from the guy who had already asked for the dragon age inquisition vinyls, this time he wanted dragon age 2 vinyls (I think I know what his favourite games are)
at this point I was faced with one of those rare occasions where I ran out of requests to do, in desperate need of something to paint PTG Stuzib85 suggested a finger print paint, wanting to go one better I did this
desk momentarily cleared I started work on my entry for Racing Club Manager livery contest entry, now they have opened their doors to fantasy designs I tried to put a racing team manager on the car Christian Horner was the chosen portrait with a couple of cars I had left over from my ten years of forza design, I created this entry
next up was a request lurking around the fm.net forums new PTG member PTG Warlock asked for this David Ortiz 'Big Papi' paint, this was a really nice paint to do as the portrait came really quick and the stitching was one of those experimental moments that really worked out
Next up is something that started as a whimsical joke that really turned out well, I wanted to test my abilities against the best, if you've ever seen Ptg Stuzib85's big mac you'll know what I mean, the public lobbies are generally full of spamming idiots, but I wanted to be the spam, in a van!
l HOLTY l asked me for a fantasy/race design with a black and grey base, I had a spare cheetah vinyl kicking around and hey presto this lovely design was born
With the release of the free fall out 4 car initially I thought 'how hideous' after a while it dawned on me how much it could look like luke skywalkers landspeeder, turns out I was right
the last paint I have for today was, yes you've guessed it another request, this time from twitter by BAM Box, hes a big WWE fan and wanted a paint of WWE diva Becky Lynch
