(The reason I am putting this here is because it applies to both the wheel and the pad the same way)
I am in the process of doing a write up and capturing videos for a (hopefully) easy explanation guide of how to setup your FFB and steering input (DOR's, Steering rack and Sensitivity). The first part of it is general enough that you can use to understand how to get what you want from multiple titles (iRacing, Assetto, R3E, Forza and to some extent PCars, although it really needs it own guide lol).
Anyway, as a wheel only user for many many years (PlayStation, PC and Xbox) I reached a point where I realized I was a little surprised by how many people misunderstand Forza even though it's 10 years old and it's now on it's 6th version .
I'd be happy to explain the differences and "what does what" & "why & how"if I get enough replies here in interest. This would be one small part for example (the red arrow pointing at the "Steering" indicator which represents what tires/steering angle is):
I would like to see it as well. I've always felt like there were gains to be made, for me at least, in these adjustments but have never found a real guide as to how to go about it.
Hey guys. New here. I have the G290 for XBOX and was curious on how you guys are able to drift with it in forza. And I was curious is you can use it on both Xbox and PlayStation. I want to get a PlayStation for gran turismo but don't want to buy the wheel again. Just curious if you guys have been able to do it if you have both consoles. Thank you

There is no cross platform compatibility for that wheel. There may be some adaptor later down the line by someone like mr basherboard
I highly doubt that, its the reason they sell the g29. G920 is xbox and pc, and g29 is pc and ps. You could get asetto corsa, the drifting in that on a wheel seems pretty popular and the over simplified physics allows it.
