Ducky's Touring Car Championship - Season 2
The DTCC is back!!
Start date: Saturday TBC - Then Weekly until complete.
Start time: Lobby Open: 8pm / Qualifiying: 8.30pm / Race: 9pm UK Time Approx (we know how bad forza/xbox can be sometimes)
This will be 3 Races (20 each Appox) a night with 5-10 MIN interval between races.
1st Race - Will be determined by qualifying results.
2nd Race - positions will be determined by the race result from Race 1.
3rd Race - Race 2 Results where places 6th-16th picked at random (by siri, google or alexa) will then be reversed.
I.E 1st=6th, 2nd=5th, 3rd=4th / 4th=3rd, 5th=2nd, 6th=1st
As we are unable to add weight easily to the cars as they do in reality we will have grip and power reductions for the top 8.
1st - 3rd - 5% Front or Rear Grip reduction to driven wheels
4th - 8th - 5% Power reduction
This will be done via player groups at the start of the races. (Tunes are to be loaded before changing player buckets - Changing tune after loading the bucket will result in an instant 80 point penalty. Repeat offenders will be banned from the rest of the series.)
NOTE: Qualifying WILL be with reductions. (Based on Championahip Standings)
Race 1 Restrictions - same as qualifying
Race 2 Restrictions - From Race 1 Results
Race 2 Restrictions - From Race 1 Results
Race 3 Restricitons - From Race 2 Results
If multiple lobbies are being use for race 1 Each week the top 8 in the championship will have a success penalty all other racers have no rescrictions. The other 2 Races after the 1st 8 in each lobby will have success penalties.
20 players per lobby with 4 spaces for spectators. Multiple lobbies will be created when required.
Teams will not be mandatory.
Teams will consist of up to 3 drivers Only. (No substitutions or changes mid season)
liveries do not have to match but Cars MUST be the same.
Before the race.
If you do not make qualifying then you simply start from the back. No Exceptions.
Qualifying session will be Held on Race night @ 8.30pm
A 10 min run (or lap equivilent), with all cars ghosted. Full sim damage is on, so be careful. Pits are open if required.
Fastest clean lap is your qualifying time, dirty laps +1 min to time
Be gentlemen, and space out to avoid being distracted/distracting other drivers.
Race Lobbies will be started approx 30 min prior to qualifying start. Invites will not be sent out please join your respective hosts once the lobbies are confirmed. If you can't find or join a host then message for an invite.
If you miss race 1 you will however be able to jump into races 2 & 3 on the night but you will start at the rear of the lowest lobby. Please message the PTG Ducky on XBL or the lobby host to get an invite.
The race will start after 1 warm up lap where the cars will drive round and form up again on the grid. Once in place the lobby host will give a time for the race to start from the race timer (2:30 for example)
It is each driver's responsibility not to crash into the car in front during the warm up lap & the first corner.
IF there is a major accident involving 3 or more racers at the starting 2 laps then a lobby restart can happen. This will happen a maximum of 2 times and on the 3rd attempt the race will continue regardless.
The races will last approximately 20 minutes each. 3 races each night in total.
There will be no need to pit, however sim damage will be on so pit if damaged.
Keep contact to a minimum.
Cars being lapped are expected to not interfere with the lapping cars.
Collisions are ALWAYS ON, so if you need to pull over, stay well away from the track.
Reporting Stewards Enquires:
Any incidents that require attention must be Game DVR'd in either the Race by recording a game clip or highlighting a time in a replay and ensuring that replay is shared. All incidents that require and enquiry are to be sent in via the form with a link to game DVR or video for review. If these are not submitted with 48 hrs of the 3rd race ending then the enquiry will not be reviewed.
We will reply with our findings to the reportee explaining our findings.

If you lag out of the race like a crash you will finish at the back (so if your in Lobby A you lag out you'll be last in Lobby A)
As a precaution could everybody prior to qualifying and race day please hard reset you console and reboot your routers to ensure you have the strongest signal possible to race.
