The Honda Civic Si is a sport compact trim of Civic by Honda. It contrasts with the more track-oriented and spartan Type R, which has less sound deadening and amenities in return for better performance. Our PTG version is 'A Bit Of An Animal' tuned by PTG Jamie, this A class is not for the faint of heart. Tuned on Long Beach and designed to get on it quick from corner to corner you'll be gripping your controller tightly. What better way to say 'It's A Bit Of An Animal' with the paint itself, designed by PTG Fox!
The 2014 Honda Civic Si tuned by PTG Jamie is a car I have never tried in the Forza series as it is a car I associate with my Aunty which never exceeds 60mph so it has never been on my to do list. However I can promise you that you are going to have some fun with this high revving 311KW engine. It really does come alive with its off the line acceleration, combined with its sticky handling around corners allowing solid momentum through each corner, this is certainly a fun car to drive.
The suspension on the Civic has been improved and this is certainly noticeable when driving it as it provides a more balanced feel throughout the various tracks I tested it on. The 2014 Honda Civic Si is a tad lower than previous Civics so it gives you a sense of being better connected to the road and also better reaction times to the driver’s demands as well which is a big positive.
In my opinion, the 2014 Honda Civic Si is not the most prettiest car in Forza due to its lines and angles on the front grille and rear bumper, so I recommend driving it using the cockpit view which I must say has a really nice interior finish.
Oh and by the way, I recommend turning tyre wear off on this FWD otherwise you will be seeing orange in only 2-3 laps time.
